sharing icons, the easy way....

I've been using weebly.com this week to create a new site. Fab. All nice and easy to use, with lots of drag and drop menus. Great for web creating techno newbies. But then i came across a glitch. How on earth do i put lovely, punchy looking social media icons on a page easily, without having to spend ages trying to 'embed' or add new codes? Hell, i want PRETTY Facebook and twitter BUTTONS on my site! And all weebly offer on their own menu are dull, grey, teeny tiny icons. No wow factor. Boring.

After lots of googling and youtubeing, i found a quick and easy way of adding all sorts of sharing icons, with tonnes of good looking designs that add a bit of yumminess to a website.
A site calledAddthis.com is great for creating simple widgets (or an easy web shortcut to you and me) to add to your own personal website. Its dead simple, you chose the set of  icons you like the look of, do a pretty simple cut and paste job, and then hey presto, there are you nice shiny new icons, flashing away on your website. MUCH easier than ordering 'An Idiots Guide to Embedding Code' on Amazon.

Here's the youtube guide i used to walk me through it. Dead easy.
